LILANGA began in 2017 with a simple conviction: South Africa does not lack good ideas, it lacks people who can deliver them. Our founder, Ms Nandipha (Nandi) Mzileni-Mbulawa, spent her early career as a teacher and later a school principal in the Eastern Cape. She learnt first-hand that capability is built patiently, one person and one step at a time.

She carried that discipline into business. LILANGA started as a procurement and supply company serving businesses across Gauteng. It quickly became the partner clients called when something difficult had to be sourced, organised or completed.

When COVID-19 hit small businesses hard, LILANGA stepped up — expanding into business coaching, mentoring and compliance support. That work, including seven years as a consultant to the Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP), turned LILANGA into an enterprise development specialist.

Today, LILANGA brings it all together: procurement, plant hire, skills development, enterprise incubation and programme delivery, backed by a network of trusted partners built over almost a decade.
