Ms Nandipha (Nandi) Mzileni-Mbulawa
Nandi brings over two decades of progressive experience in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) development, youth economic inclusion, strategic governance and public sector policy implementation. Her career began as a teacher and school principal, where she learnt first-hand that capability is built patiently — one person and one step at a time.
She carried that discipline into supply chain and retail planning at Woolworths and Edcon, then into entrepreneurial leadership as co-founder of an events and restaurant business with key mining empowerment partnerships. As a consultant and project manager at Mantra Consulting SA (2012–2017), she led monitoring and evaluation for critical government programmes and development projects.
In 2017 she founded LILANGA Trading and Enterprises. What began as a procurement and supply company grew — through COVID-19 and seven years consulting to the Gauteng Enterprise Propeller — into a full project delivery and entrepreneurship group. Her contribution to the Gauteng Department of Economic Development MSME Strategy 2025–2035, and her board service on the South African Tourism Board, reflect the governance and policy depth behind LILANGA’s delivery.
